Fire Engines Photos

A nice selection of pictures George.

This unit seems very similar to the vehicles used for decades all over Germany as ELW 3, or light first responder command vehicles, which are usually assigned to most larger fire stations for the watch commander and his aides. Similar vehicles are also pretty universal as first line command vans in Japan, and of course they are universal for Battalion Chiefs in the US and Canada - although, like everything else, they are bigger!

A lot of the appliances in the Devon & Somerset fleet nowadays don't seem to display any station names or numbers that I can see, so identifying which station an appliance belongs to can often be next to impossible.

This one is (August 2024) Street's CSU.

Thank you Bristol Bob, there were a LOT more appliances at the incident, but I couldn't get photos of them because they were too far away behind the fire/ police tapes for me to zoom my camera in enough to get decent shots.
