EBB302 Leyland FK7 pump Newcastle

EBB304 fleet number 11 is preserved and rallied. There was also a fine diecast model of this marque. Three were delivered to the brigade in 1937 numbered 302/303/304. As this has fleet no 9 I guess this is EBB 302.

Excellent photo, but as it is black and white it does not do full justice to the livery which these displayed. This was chocolate brown with red lockers and mudguards, along with silver coach lines on parts of the bodywork. At least one of these three was still in use in 1966 - when I believe it was in use for driver training, but it may have also been an active reserve at the time.
