Cab design used a second set of front doors, just like the later ERF snorkels and a few other resourceful body builders in the UK and overseas. This required the additional of a small rear window, but was otherwise pretty straightforward. The cab design also provided for some useful additional headroom, which was an improvement when compared to a lot of Volvo crew cabs, which tended to be the same height as the factory driver’s cab.
