BEDFORD TK HCB ANGUS - A987XCV

I used to own this emergency tender and was wondering if anyone can give me information on how it would have been used in service? It was in service from 1984 - 2000 (approx dates)
Camborne 1984 - 96
Support vehicle @ ?
Bodmin 1999 - 2000
According to archives it was a support vehicle at some point between Camborne and Bodmin.
There was also another made A988 XCV - any information on how this emergency tender was used in service would also be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I should like to know about that Leyland next to it! These were a very rare sight in fire stations during this era, after the ill fated bus-based Firemaster custom chassis had had its brief moment in the spotlight. Nottingham had one as its ET in the early seventies, but I know of none besides this one example....

Ed: remember Hants had several Mastiff water carriers

Several Brigades hand similar Leylands (or badge engineered equivalents) very often as water carriers.

We also sold one in Belgium, also as a water carrier.
