Iturri is a Spanish builder, with operations in fourteen countries. I suspect this is an early effort to get into the fast growing German market for brush pumper-tankers, probably based on the firm’s long history of building these - and perhaps because they may have a bit of a cost advantage.

Mounting the water tank directly above the rear axle has both advantages and disadvantages. On a positive note, it does maximize rear axle traction, and is a bit less expensive to build. The negatives are that it makes a rollover more likely, especially when driven along, rather than up or down, sloping terrain - or when negotiating a sharp turn at speed. In addition, it slows down access to equipment items which are stored deep in the interior of the body amidships, and slightly increases the possibility of body damage to the tank itself. Internal baffles do of course reduce water movement in the tank, and baffling has advanced a lot in recent years, but it too adds extra cost and sometimes adequate baffling is skipped on cost grounds too. I am not suggesting Iturri does not do everything well - the firm has a lot of customers and a good reputation. But there are some concerns about tank location on units like this, especially if the terrain where they have to be deployed is challenging.
