This prototype is similar to the logistics truck being built for Berlin. It seems likely the Volvo will be quite a bit less expensive than the original custom built Rosenbauer - but early indications are that it retains the conventional diesel driveline, so it is more a hybrid than a fully electric.

It is based on an electric delivery truck developed for the city of Gothenburg, which is where Volvo headquarters are located.
