Fire Engines Photos

Now that is NOT a livery which I would associate with a fire service at all! I believe the Volvo is a bit more of a hybrid than the fully electric Rosenbauer, but even that has a BMW diesel engine to recharge the batteries. Both Pierce and EOne have introduced prototype electric pumpers in the US, but these too are really plug in hybrids too, as they still have diesel drivelines. It seems we may have to see solid state batteries in these before a truly fully electric fire truck becomes a reality.

The TL was returned to the Rosenbauer, I don't know the exact reason. It was on test for a few months.
