in 1952 two Ford hoselayers from the NFS were converted into emergency tenders and this one served at Hebburn.

Later converted into a foam tender. Info from Ron Henderson's book on fire brigades in the NE page 19.

Newcastle and Gateshead had a very similar ET, which was in service until being replaced by a Dennis in 1965.
