Does anyone know what the third unit was? It looks like a Bedford canteen van, but seems to have a set of ladders on the roof!

Thanks Neal, a bit of a mystery! I do like this photo because it really does illustrate just what an advanced design the F7 was in 1949, only ten years after appliances like its Leyland Braidwood body stable mate here in Bootle was still a very common style of British pump appliance.
