The book "Fire Fighting in Kent" has this style of body as by Kenex Coachworks of Ashford, Kent. As this book is by the chap who ran the Kent Fire Brigade Museum, and now the Museum of Firefighting in Kent, I would say that he's right and John Nadal's book is wrong.
