The dual roof monitors were a feature of Hong Kong major pumps, and are still to be seen on the current fleet of Scanias. Only a few UK brigades ever installed a roof monitor, and they are unheard of in many countries on pumps for urban structural firefighting, while being standard on many wild land fire pumps, tenders and tankers. Here in the US, the “ deckgun” is actually an NFPA requirement on all structural pumpers, and typically has a 500 USG output rating. They are actually quite often used at fires, although they do require the driver to do a good job of positioning the pumper.
