The roof extension does look like an afterthought, with very little effort to integrate its appearance with the rest of the already rather unfortunately designed crew compartment. All down to cost, presumably, but there are loads of high roof fire appliance crew cabs on Atego on this site, which show that a practical design does not have to be this ugly.
