One of the second batch of D series with the original design HCB Angus bodywork. This preserved the F8s factory tilt cab feature, but was not by any means the most elegant body job to be clagged on to a D series chassis. Gloucestershire was the first of around thirty British fire brigades to buy D series, with the first eleven being built in late 1966. These had petrol engines sourced by SVO from Canada, but later deliveries had Ford or Perkins diesels.
