Auxilium is Latin for “help” and is the name for Lentner’s new modular aluminum fire service vehicle manufacturing technology. It remains to be seen if it has any meaningful advantages over the similar offerings from other advanced European body builders, especially Rosenbauer. The main pitch seems to be lighter weight, enabling payload of extinguishing media and tool kits to be increased when compared to other manufacturers, but initial indications are that such that this does not seem to be all that meaningful.

The black body wrap is certainly distinctive; there are actually a few volunteer fire companies in the US whose trucks are black!
