You have done well to squeeze the HP and RT into the same shot. Dennis RS XOT160V in the background as first WTL. The Range Rover is in its original dayglow livery as delivered in 1976, before it became rather faded and was repainted normal fire engine red, with reflective stripes added. You can just see the Ford BACV CPO635L behind the rescue tender in the 2nd bay which they shared, the BACV having to reverse out when required. MPX842J was replaced in 1989 by Dennis F127/Saxon/SS263 F25OCR.

Just realised KBP550P is missing it's Dale stem lighting, but still seems to have it's original blue strobe light on the cab roof, which would normally be on top of the lighting. I've got a picture with the lighting mast and in the late 1970s and 1987 (both on this site) , and it did lose it's lighting column in later life, (late 80s & early 90s so did it get knocked off twice, or was it missing in this picture for maintenance or some other reason?

Delighted to see this picture. KBP 550P was in 2019, still complete and for sale in Italy. I've done a quick search and the link to the advert I had no longer works. Of the two other ‘sister’ appliances, TPO513M is still under going restoration (by me) and TPO514M was converted to a pick-up truck. I have a particular interest in these West Sussex Carmichael Commandos and would love to see any more photos anyone may has, particularly as they are so valuable in helping in to return TPO513M back as close as I can get to original.
