Fire Engines Photos

I once owned one of these, a MB 300TD station wagon, which I bought in 1985 to contend with a growing family...It was appallingly slow, very noisy and had a ridiculously tiny fuel tank, but it was also built like a tank and was unbreakable! Although its performance was as a private car was an embarrassment, I guess it could keep up with its contemporary fire trucks back then - which was all the Cologne fire brigade cared about.
