Both hose reels being brought into use. On the road, one crew member is unwinding the high pressure 19mm reel, while the colleague in the red helmet is already working the yellow 32mm low pressure hose. These 4000 litre CCF pumpers are probably the most common in France, as they combine a lot of capacity with a relatively compact design. Other smaller units have from 1000 to 3000 litres, while maximum GVW 4X4 units can carry 6000.

They can accommodate four crew members and - as seen here - usually operate in a team of three units, with a 13,000 litre tanker in support.
