Around this time many French fire services were still buying ladders with crew cabs, but even these were usually crewed by only two firefighters and fairy soon afterwards crew cabs disappeared from their ladders. In Germany, where turntable ladders were much more common - even in quite small towns - it was very rare to see any with a crew cab after WWII.
