I do hope this always responded with only two crew members, looking at the "seat" for anyone unfortunate enough to have to ride behind the cab. Unsafe, inaccessible, draughty, exposed, nauseating and extremely uncomfortable would seem to be an appropriate set of adjectives. Perhaps an even worse experience getting to the fire than actually having to deal with it!
