So glad to see another unique antique fire appliance so well preserved. Not only was this a unique Unic chassis TTL (in both senses of the word!), it was by 1960 one of the last Metz mechanical turntable ladders with the distinctive twin chain driven elevating mechanism - always assuming of course that it was not just a remounted ladder from a much older original chassis.

But - whatever it’s story - it is still a great save, and once again J-P has captured it on film for all of us!

Rob you are right the origin of the ladder could be from another chassis.
