Thirty eight years on the run! Pretty impressive, even for this generation of Mercedes. The wartime standard specification pumpers had 800, 1500 or 2500 LPM pumps, all PTO driven except for front mounted pumps - and a huge number of 800 LPM trailer pumps.

The pumpers and towing tenders were not usually fitted with original water tanks, but some LF 15 and 25 pumpers were modified to include an 800 liter tank in later years.
