I wonder if this 1966 Bedford TK Merryweather TL was one of the first, as Merryweather were very reluctant for many years to supply their ladders on any chassis except for AEC, who also supplied all the chassis for their pump appliances and other specials. It took even longer for the firm to get around to building other types of appliances on Bedford or Ford chassis.
