Frankfurt has operated similar aerials on special short wheelbase 6X2 rear steer chassis for many years now.

They provide exceptional maneuverability; I saw one of the previous generation Ecoliners at a small Polish volunteer fire station a few years ago and it was quite amazing!

10 of these models have been commissioned in 2020

6x2 TTL models were introduced in the 90' on MB Ecoliner and Atego replacing the low profile TTL
