LHF75K Dennis F48 ET/CU Merseyside
ex Wallasey. There has been much debate about LHF 75K. The conclusion is that it was built by Dennis in Wallasey yellow, but repainted at Home Office insistence just prior to delivery.

I have done considerable research on this appliance. The Manufacturers Production Orders specified a livery of Coventry Yellow. With this in mind the fibreglass components were inpregnated yellow common practice on yellow vehicles at the factory. However on final completion it was painted red. This means when the fibreglass chips it shows yellow.....
