Following the recent discussions about the Chicago Fire Dept Squad companies here is the year 2000 Pierce Lance heavy rescue that the present two piece apparatus from Rosenbauer replaced. I believe that I took this photo in 2004. This vehicle was extensively refurbished not long before being replaced and I was held as a reserve when I last visited.
