Not a pretty sight, but looks functional! There is in my opinion a lot to be said for having appliances - perhaps especially “specials” - built by brigade workshops, who can talk directly to the crews who will use them. When this turns up to deliver needed water supplied at a large fire, nobody will care what it looks like!
