This type of trailer pump is rated at 1000 LPM at 15 AT, but actually delivers around 1350 liters with a 3 metre draft. It’s performance is therefore pretty comparable to the good old Dennis third size TP which was rated at 500 gpm at 100 psi with a ten foot lift, which was around 2250 liters at 7 AT with a three meter lift. These have two 65 mm outlets, but the beefier French TPS rated at 2000 LPM @ 15 AT have dual 110 mm deliveries for use with standard French LDH
"VHLR" on the windscreen translates as "Off road light vehicle", which seems to describe this LWB Land Rover estate car quite well...
Land Rovers have been used extensively in France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland and Austria in a variety of fire service roles for decades until quite recently, and a few have even turned up in Germany. But now there is a trend towards not only local makes, but also American and Japanese 4X4 pickup trucks and SUVs instead.
