Although Audis are marketed in several countries as quasi luxury cars and SUVs, in Germany they are much less so, and are quite commonly found in fire service fleets as officer’s cars and general utility transport vehicles. The same is true for Mercedes cars and estates too ….

As illustrated here, a recent trend with urban fire services has been to acquire electric cars from these and other manufacturers.
