With a 12 ton GVW 2X4 chassis these smaller and lighter duty HLF 10/10 are primarily stationed at some of the 24 volunteer fire stations in the city. This series were acquired in 2016, and have 12 speed semi-automatic transmission.
One of these is also attached to each of Dresden's five full time fire stations. Together with an HLF20, a DLK23/12 and a command van, they form the standard first due response by the full time fire service to a structure fire alarm in the city.
The volunteers have either an HLF10 or HLF20, as well as large numbers of older LF pumpers and a variety of additional types including TSF and recently acquired TLF 4000 units. Four of the busier volunteer companies also have a TTL.
