This looks like a pretty standard French rescue pump (PTSR). The pump is rated at 2000 LPM @ 15AT, the water tank is 2900 to 3500 litres, and this unit most likely has the Camelion CAFS installation, for both class A and B foam.

Although Renault remains the most popular chassis by far, French SDIS are also buying lots of units on imported chassis including Mercedes, Iveco and Scania as well as MAN.

PTSR are operated with either a six or eight person crew; this example has the extended factory crew cab, suggesting it is probably specified for eight.

Both the one man hose carts hung on the rear and the hook ladders on the roof remain as examples of traditional and characteristically French features which have proven their value and usefulness for two hundred years and are still in daily use...
