On 3.5 ton crew cab Ford Transit chassis this 140 BHP first responder light pump has a PTO driven 750 LPM pump and a 400 litre polyester water tank. Although the cab nominally seats six, most SDIS operate these with four crew members. They are used to attend automatic fire alarms in parts of towns or villages where streets or building configurations donor permit access for larger trucks.

Heinis also built similar specification units on the old LandRover long wheelbase double cab chassis, with the same pump and tank but a bit less locker space.
