Cheaper than the CSV (Crew safety vehicle) produced by HCBA at the same time. The plastic front was sub contracted to Moors (Plastics) Ltd Kent (as the H&S Exec.would not allow HCB-A to build them themselves due to complaints by the neighbours because of the styrene fumes!) and the cab had a comprehensive High Strength crash structure built in.

this is Warwickshire batch. 316 ended up in Malawi. 317 in Ireland.
