Heinis collaborates with Renault, Rosenbauer and Godiva to manufacture these rescue pump water tenders. The firm also builds full size and compact pumps, water tenders and other appliances. This chassis is a RWD 15 ton GVW with a factory 8 seat cab. The pump is a Godiva, rated at 2000 LPM at 15 AT, with a 3000 litre water tank and 200 liter class A (or optionally B) foam. A CAFS installation is also optional - and increasingly common on recent deliveries. The truck is 7.5 M long, 2.48 M wide and 3.0 M high, plus the addition of the two rear mounted hose carts for 200 m of 65mm hose each. Ladders are carried depending on the requirements of individual SDIS.

Thanks Rob, always on the news, since January 2021 in Alsace we are STIS instead of SDIS the D = Departement was replaced by T + Territorial, a first in France after Lyon SDMIS = Service Departemental Metropolitain Incendie et Secours

Thanks Rob all is well, however not allowed to visit any stations due to Covid and Terrorism alert! Another new addition in France for all trucks and buses since January 2021 a sticker on the doors and behind labeled "Dead Angle".
