KS civil defense 1600 LPM pump with 2400 liter tank on a Magirus Eckhauber (square bonnet) military heavy duty 4X4 chassis cab, complete with roof hatch! These were supplied by the federal government, but operated by regular volunteer fire companies alongside their other units. The equipment load was different, with a focus on additional hose for long distance water relays if needed. Many still have KS units, the most recent units being on MAN chassis.
