This repurposed old police riot control truck was operated by this volunteer fire company, protecting a town of 12, 000 citizens. It was an "extra" water supply unit, not adapted in any way to conform with standards for approved firefighting equipment. But a biggish tank, 4X4 drive and a six man cab were all useful attributes. The modern fleet today comprises a rescue pump, a compact pump with 1000 LPM portable pump, a pump water tender, a 5000 liter tanker, a command van, a personnel carrier, a transport truck and a staff car.
Founded in 1762, the company has 52 active volunteers, and in 2020 they attended 68 incidents.
