One of 34 rescue pumps operated by the 23 full time fire service stations in Hamburg. A further 35 are based at some of the additional 86 volunteer fire companies' stations in the city. The total city pumper fleet totals 231, 171 of which are located at the volunteer stations. There are also 18 turntable ladders, 6 aerial platforms, 52 rescue, hazmat and special purpose trucks, 11 pod carriers and 45 pods.

Hamburg's rescue pumps are - unusually - equipped with a small inflatable boat for water rescues. This is inflated by an on board compressor when needed, and is a valuable additional rescue capability in this port city with its numerous deep waterways.
