This used to have a front mounted 800 LPM pump. The MB 409 LF8 was once almost everywhere in Germany as the basic volunteer fire pump in most of the country's volunteer fire stations. It had a nine person crew cab, scaling ladders, hoses and basic firefighting equipment. It did not have a water tank.

Unsophisticated, but inexpensive and quite effective, the LF8 was the standard first due pump in small towns and villages for decades and quite a few are still around, after thirty or even forty years in service!
