Note the different hose reels - a normal arrangement on CCFF brush trucks in France. The left reel is 23 mm high pressure hose, similar to those installed on standard water tenders. The yellow hoses are 32mm unlined flat hose for low pressure application, and are designed to soak out so that they can be deployed over recently burnt areas of vegetation. Additional lengths of this type of hose are carried in the lockers, along with larger diameter lined flat hoses.
