Aerials at work during a multiple alarms fire

The truck in the picture is a 55m platform on a Scania Chassis and manufactured by CTE fire.

This photo was taken during the largest fire in the city of Mashhad's history. Aluminum cladding of an 80 meter tall shopping center fueled the massive blaze. Luckily no death or injuries were reported. More than 270 firefighters tackled the blaze.

A great pic, showing how sometimes ultra long aerials could actually come in handy.

So sad that this was another case where inflammable external cladding led to such rapid vertical extension of the fire.

Just like Grenfell, and similar high rise fires in Dubai, Russia and France in recent years.
