That looks like my Dad's old Ford Sierra in the background! We were on a Fire Brigade Society, North West Area visit to Greater Manchester in the late '80s. The visit started at Farnworth and finished at Wigan. Bolton North had this Land Rover, a Dennis RS pump and a Ford D Breathing Apparatus Tender on the run. My notes and photos from the visit will be in a box in my garage. I think it was the second or third time that I'd met Alastair Collins and Tony Kent, both now sadly gone.
