If you google 'Pathe U.K. Fire-Fighters Prepare For Jumbo Jet Age 1969' in a short 1 minute film of a Shackleton aircraft burning a strange crash tender appears is it a Unipower ?

Ed: not sure - could be Thornycroft but does have reverse rake on windscreen area that is characteristic of later Unipower cabs, the RE04 and 06.

One of the appliances shown was a pyrene Mk7 became a RAF Fire service Vehicle from 1966 and the weird looking truck looks like similar without body work maybe as MOD fireman operating monitor ?
