Unless this was a remounted prewar ladder, this must have been one of the first postwar Magirus imports.

The pump installation seems to have compromised legroom for crew members sitting under the canopy crew cab. I wonder if it was an add-on after the original build?

Hi Rob, the pump looks like it's been taken from Coventry Climax FF trailer pump. Yep not much leg room.

I looked at the brother of this appliance in 1977 with a view to buying it. Anyone know where NWR 250 is located now. I have the year of manufacture as 1952

Is it possible to extend and train the ladder by hand without any power? I wonder because if possible it would look great extended inside the museum.
