B reg was from August 1984 so this is not a 1970's vehicle, so the beacons are not unusual for the 80's.

Yes, I'm fairly certain all of Staffordshire's frontline appliances had these 'fruit bowl' strobes fitted from1982 up until the purchase of their first Dennis Sabres in 1995.
