Land Rover109/Pyrene RT SWX 280L
1970s was West Riding then Humberside. Based on RHD export 1-Ton Land Rover vehicle. The 1-Tons had 900x16 tyres and a very low geared box compared to ordinary Land Rovers.
They had a large dry powder tank in the rear, with a length of special hose and a nitrogen cylinder for discharge. They also had all the usual RTA gear. It had a front mounted winch, driven by PTO, used in conjunction with a pair of 'Ground Anchors',
Non airfield Pyrene fire tenders are very rare.
