This appliance/ladder type only lasted about three years. From memory this was Merryweather's last throw of the dice, as they launched a new ladder to compete with Metz and Magirus, but failed. I asume it was unreliable and did not survive.
Delivered on a Dennis chassis to merseyside and on a Dodge to Fire.
The XRL30 was pictured in the Manuals Of Firemanship on a Dennis Delta Chassis.
