Dennis F8 KCE820

For the first time in a very long time KCE820 one of the very early Dennis F8's ( see picture 38244 for the full story )is safe and warm. Like the fate of many other appliances, restoration was started and never completed. It is easy taking things apart but it is the putting back together again which is the difficult part. During the period when the machine is no longer mobile it is so easy for the engine and brakes to seize.

I am told this is not only very early but may actually have been the first F8.

It has the same locker configuration as the Derbyshire F8s, which gives rise (at least in my addled mind) to the question of what size water tank Cambridge ordered?

Good look with the continuing restoration. This one is really worth it!
