Somerset FB Bedford TK 70' HP - Bridgwater
Not a great picture from the mid 70's of Somerset FB's 70' BEDFORD TK Hydraulic Platform "DYB 107C", but worth showing for historical context. New to the 'brigade in 1965, this appliance spent it's entire career at Bridgwater until replaced with a second-hand machine ex.Lancs FB in the early 80's. Shown here at Minehead Fire Station on a training exercise for local retained crews. A bit of a "ringer" for the Corgi model which is still to be seen at 'Fairs for collectors.

I have the Corgi model No 1127 of this vehicle. Do any readers have any information as to what pump was fitted to this appliance. Best Wishes to all for 2024

Corgi 1127 cab was odd as it was open to the rear and contained crew seating. I suppose it could have been based on an export model.
