UBJ 767, Bedford TA / Carmichael PET

UBJ767 1956 Bedford TA/Carmichael PET (Pump Emergency Tender) stationed at Normanshurst, Lowestoft. Suffolk & Ipswich Fire Service. Exercise Pylon - Rail Accident Exercise in 1971 at Leiston. One of a small batch originally built and operated as WrTs. These chassis, built as normal control, were converted to semi-forward control by Nevilles of Retford prior to bodying by Carmichael's of Worcester.

first 5 seconds I thought this vehicle was ugly but the more I look the more I understand its design, its very sleek, especially for its age
