A nice conversion - you wouldn't think it had been anything other than a purpose-built fire-truck.

Milk tanker, eh? Gotta love Tankers - have such interesting "conversions from" (<;)

This one having new unit id like all others in our country for some years, replaced with newer one and transferred to another fire station, to Juupajoki, Korkeakoski voluntery fire debt. and unit id is RPI913 (rescue Pirkanmaa station 91 tanker)

Adding a front mounted pump to an existing tanker is a relatively straightforward job.

The great majority of pumpers in Scandinavia and the Benelux had front-mounted pumps as standard for many years from the 1940s to the 1970s, because of the relative simplicity of this layout, and they were far from uncommon in Germany, Austria and Switzerland too.
