Coolfire is the Angus version of the Swedish Cobra Cold Cutter, now in use in more than 45 countries.
It delivers a mixture of water and abrasive grit at ultra high pressure, so as to breach even brick or concrete walls. One through, it then introduces plain water into the space behind the wall in the form of an ultra high pressure jet or spray, with 280 AT at the nozzle.
It is an update - and some would say an alternative - to the fognail, which was a hollow tube hammered into and through a wall or roof, which was fed by a 45mm hose line and had a spray nozzle incorporated into it. Also invented in Sweden, these are still very popular among many departments Worldwide.
Both enable some aspects of an interior attack to be accomplished without sending personnel in to danger.
